Simon has been involved in most aspects of legal practice since 1975. He was previously a partner in a large national law firm and established Blackwells in 1989 to provide a more personalised service to his clients.
He continues to be a trusted advisor to his many private clients both in relation to their personal affairs and their business interests. Simon provides legal services in most aspects of property and business law including the acquisition and disposal of businesses, and employment issues, as well as providing advice to individuals in relation to family trusts, enduring powers of attorney and will making.
Simon was appointed a Notary Public in 1999 and is frequently approached to take declarations and authenticate documents for use in overseas jurisdictions.
In his spare time, Simon’s main form of relaxation is road cycling, whether it be in the hills of Auckland or the Pyrenees.
